Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass). Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended.

As I walk my trail I tend to to skip some parts to speed up to my destination that lies ahead in mind But sometimes it is best to stop and look around and find some gems that are close and with in reach of home Déhà is one of those and fits the heart 🖤 bmurator explains it better why ! Averses était un "Prélude à la Drache", un "vestige" selon les mots de Déhà. Mais cet album offrait tellement en terme de black metal atmosphérique, il était si chargé en émotions que Déhà a pu en faire une saga à part entière et lui offrir une seconde partir avec Averses II. Le style est le même mais la nostalgie d'autrefois qui est poursuivie dans "Estivale" et "Regrets d'inconnu" se transforme en typhon de rage. Et alors qu'on croit avoir essuyé la pire tempête, l'averse débute à peine...
