Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this.

Averses était un "Prélude à la Drache", un "vestige" selon les mots de Déhà. Mais cet album offrait tellement en terme de black metal atmosphérique, il était si chargé en émotions que Déhà a pu en faire une saga à part entière et lui offrir une seconde partir avec Averses II. Le style est le même mais la nostalgie d'autrefois qui est poursuivie dans "Estivale" et "Regrets d'inconnu" se transforme en typhon de rage. Et alors qu'on croit avoir essuyé la pire tempête, l'averse débute à peine...

As I walk my trail I tend to to skip some parts to speed up to my destination that lies ahead in mind But sometimes it is best to stop and look around and find some gems that are close and with in reach of home Déhà is one of those and fits the heart 🖤 bmurator explains it better why ! Striking and hypnotic, listening through Geister is a rugged and immense journey. The album is brimming with ceremonial darkness from the moment it starts. The intensity of each track is bookended with ritual, and this immersive factor keeps me utterly entranced by the story being told. Geister still feels frigid and dangerous, and I end up captivated every time I listen.
